There’s a nip in the air and we’re starting to once again see a change in the seasonal produce available at the Marlborough Farmers’ Market. For those of you on School Holidays we hope you’re having a great time and we welcome all young families to enjoy our Kids’ Tent while parents shop the stalls. We have a great range of brunch options available this week and hope you’ll join us enjoying the fresh air and good weather while we’re still able.

Thank you everyone who came to visit us last week at the Easter Farmers’ Market. We were fortunate to have a glorious sunny Marlborough Morning and Teddy Bear the Rabbit (the Easter Bunny’s girlfriend) had a great time being patted by all the children who enjoyed our Easter Hunt. The fig trees are starting to shut down now for Winter so make sure you visit Riverina for your final fig fix of 2017!
Pedro’s Empanadas won’t be here this week, he’s busy at home concocting a new product “Seafood Marinara Empanadas” which will be available to try next week. Mmmmm.
Anette will be joining Leah again on the Mississippi Herbs’ stall, bringing her authentic German sourdough bread, giant chia crackers and lots of lovely sweet baking. They have heaps of fun in the bakery for the customers who appreciate something a little different. They still have some shishito peppers and fresh cut herbs so it’s not just a bakery stall and well worth a visit!
Don’t miss our weekly Cooking Demonstration from 10.30am with local Chefs cooking their favourite recipes with Farmers’ Market seasonal produce.
This week we look forward to a sweet treat with Chef Roger Raizada from Roger’s Kitchen Tandoori Restaurant making Halva Cake infused in exotic spices and golden syrup with Desi Masala Chai. It sounds delicious!
